After building and operating his own independent RIA, Darren experienced firsthand how much time advisors lose hiring, training, supervising, and retaining operational staff. He helped found Advisor Operations Group to eliminate those distractions by providing experienced, scalable operational support without the headaches and overhead that come with building an in-house team.

At AOG, Darren works closely with advisory firms to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and implement scalable systems that allow advisors to focus on what they do best, serving clients, building relationships, attracting new business, and growing assets under management. 

Darren graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Business. He began his career as a commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap before transitioning to the financial services industry in 2014. 

Darren believes that outsourced operational excellence is one of the greatest competitive advantages an advisory firm can have. His vision for AOG is to become the premier operational partner for independent RIAs nationwide. He truly enjoys being able to fee advisors from the day-to-day burdens of staffing and operations so they can focus their time and energy on serving clients, growing their businesses, and enjoying the freedom that comes with running a more efficient practice.
